Dr. Stone’s long-awaited third season is almost here, and the latest trailer for the show shows that there is a whole new world waiting for them.
A vague date of “April 2023” had been given for the third season’s premiere, but a new trailer from Crunchyroll confirms that the subtitled version of Dr. Stone New World will debut on Thursday, April 6, 2023, at 7:30 AM PDT. The English dubbed version won’t be too far behind, with a new premiere date of April 20, 2023, at 12:30 PM PDT.

Dr Stone Season 3 Release Date
Since the second season of Dr. Stone ended in 2021 and only a special aired in 2022, fans have been waiting a long time for the anime to continue. It’s been so long since the manga has ended.
At the end of the second season, Senku said their next goal would be to build a ship and explore the Stone World again, looking for other survivors and possible clues to stop everyone from turning to stone.
A teaser trailer for season 3 showed that Senku might get to meet the forces that turned Dr. Stone’s Earth into stone. Even though there have been a lot of significant technological advances in the series so far, building a ship that can cross oceans is still no easy task.

Senku and his friends in the Kingdom of Science will have to work with the best and brightest people from Tsukasa’s recently defeated Empire of Might to reach this goal. They will also need to get enough supplies to cross the sea, which is a big task in and of itself. That means some new characters, like Chrome and Gen, will likely join the mix.
It’s also hard to say what dangers they might face in the wider world, whether they come from other human groups, big animals, or the things that scared people in the first place. With a solid release date less than a month away, Dr. Stone fans should start getting excited about the significant return of the series in April.
Crunchyroll will begin streaming the new season of Dr. Stone New World on April 6th, while the prior seasons are already accessible to stream.
