In H.A. Rey’s popular children’s book series “Curious George,” the storyteller is often called the “Man with the Yellow Hat.” He takes care of George, a curious and naughty little monkey.
He is a kind and patient person. The stories are led by the narrator’s sense of adventure and true love for George as they go on crazy adventures together. With his bright yellow hat and friendly personality, the narrator is a constant presence in the charming stories and a source of wisdom. He has won the hearts of young readers and viewers for generations.
Who is the Curious George Narrator?
Yes! We’re referring to the endearing monkey companion who appears to be on an exciting journey with the man in the yellow hat. Despite being a monkey, George holds a particular place in every child’s heart.
Because no one can resist this bundle of turmoil with a dash of charm, we can bet that even adults adore him. That sounds like the ideal way to introduce George. However, there is someone we are overlooking, right? the storyteller.
The narrator of the “Curious George” animation has a very endearing yet childlike voice. In season 1, William H. Macy narrated the show; Rino Romano narrated the remaining seasons. The voice we all recognize as Rino made us chuckle and seemed to be a part of many illustrious roles.

The animated series “Curious George” was created concurrently with the 2006 motion picture “Curious George,” which also starred Will Ferrell as the Man in the Yellow Hat.
After making its PBS debut in 2006, the show ran for nine seasons before taking a three-year break. The most current season began in July 2020 on the NBC streaming service Peacock after making a comeback on the Canadian channel Family Junior in 2018.
In 2008 and 2010, it took home two Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Children’s Animated Program. Romano took over the role of The Narrator on “Curious George” from William H. Macy, who portrayed the part for the first 30 episodes of the series before being replaced by Romano.
Romano joins the voice cast of “Curious George,” which includes Murderer’s Row. One of those cartoon voices who appears very differently from what you may expect plays the main simian: Frank Welker has 861 acting credits, including those for Abu from “Aladdin,” Fred from “Scooby-Doo,” and Megatron.
The voice of Kowalski and Johnny Bravo from “The Penguins of Madagascar,” Jeff Bennett, has replaced the Man in the Yellow Hat. Jim Cummings, who portrays Winnie the Pooh, plays Chef Pisghetti.
Rob Paulsen, has appeared in several “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” series and “Animaniacs,” as Charkie the cocker spaniel among other animals. The paperboy Bill is portrayed by Annie Mumolo, who most recently portrayed Barb in “Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar.”
