Previous Season Recap
In the recent episode of The Wheel of Time season 2, Ishamael, the dark one, uses his powers to raise a woman covered in blood and creates an army of forsaken like him.
Moiraine reunites with her sister Anvaere in Cairhien after many decades. Nynaeve successfully completes her trials and becomes an accepted member of the Aes Sedai.
Lan, unsure of his future, is no longer bonded. Moiraine asks Logain to help teach Rand how to channel and gives him a knife to end his life if needed. Leane Sharif remains inactive regarding the Western Shore attacks, and Liandrin raises concerns.
Perrin discovers that he possesses the ability of a Wolf Brother, and Min has a terrifying nightmare involving Ishamael, who compels her to bring Mat to Cairhien. Nynaeve and Egwene decide to leave the White Tower to support their friends as Perrin is captured by the western Shienaran army.
The episode ends with a shocking revelation: Selene, known as the Daughter of the Night and a Forsaken Lanfear, is revealed to be alive, but Moiraine saves Rand by slitting Selene’s throat at the last moment.

What’s in Store for The Wheel of Time Season 2 Episode 5?
The next episode of season 2 is going to be full of surprises. Liandrin, who seemed like a mentor to Nynaeve, might actually be a bad person, as she attacked Nynaeve and her friends, Egwene and Elayne.
In this episode, Maksim, Ivhon, and Alanna find a mysterious poem in Lan’s bag, hinting at a plan to resurrect a dangerous figure known as a Forsaken.
They will take this matter to the White Tower. Moiraine, who rescued Rand from Lanfear, will work on a plan to help Rand use a special power called One Power.
There’s also a chance that Min will reveal her past betrayal to Mat and expose Liandrin and Ishamael’s plot to create chaos.
