A divided Supreme court denied stopping the Texas law that prevents women from having abortions after 6 weeks of pregnancy. There are two sets of people, one favoring the decision and one opposing it.
Abortion and the Complexities
The termination of a pregnancy by the removal of the fetus is called Abortion. Abortion could happen without intervention, known as a miscarriage and the fetus can also be removed surgically, known as an induced abortion.
Abortion is the safest way to lose a fetus when done properly but if it is done improperly, there may be complications, often leading to the death of the mother. Modern-day medication uses two options to remove a fetus, by surgery or by medicine.

The Texas Law
The Texas law, though facing many legal challenges, is a law that does not allow women to perform abortions after 6 months of pregnancy. The reason is that in six weeks, a fetal develops a heartbeat, and killing this heartbeat is somewhat murder.
The Texas abortion centers have stopped performing surgery and neighboring states experience a rise in Texas residents coming to their states for abortion. The Texas law was challenged in the Supreme court. The 5-4 ruling, just before midnight, received applause from the anti-abortion group, and the abortion-rights group was furious about the State’s decision.

The Abortion-rights Group, Biden and Their Say
Abortion is a highly controversial topic and excites very deeply embedded emotions and opinions. However, access to safe and viable abortion options is a basic human right that should be provided to every woman. Women do not have access to safe abortion options in many countries as it is restricted in law.
Even where abortion is permitted, it is under the circumstances that the mother’s life is in danger or the fetus is a result of rape. The Abortion rights group fights for the right of women to perform the procedure with all the safety procedures provided to them. Many international human rights laws support their claim.
They believe that women have the right to decide about all the aspects of the reproduction process, including abortion. “Ban off our bodies” is what the women have to say about it. Joe Biden is also a staunch supporter of the Abortion rights group.
The ruling of the Supreme court has caused extreme sorrow among the group. Joe Biden is also unhappy with the decision and says that the ruling is an “unprecedented assault on the women’s constitutional rights” and straightaway demanded a response.
Biden also predicted that the ruling will bring unconstitutional chaos which would make women, in need of clinical attention, suffer.

The Anti-abortion Group
An Anti-abortion group is a group of people that reject the concept of abortion and take it as murdering of the fetus. They have been fighting for decades against the court’s abortion precedents. The group celebrated the ruling of the Supreme Court.
The President of the National Rights of Life said that this ruling will hopefully save the lives of tens of thousands of Texas babies and they look forward to the day that the babies’ lives will be spared all across America.
The Senior Associative claims the ruling as a massive victory for the pro-life movement. Experts have said that this may be the “blueprint” that may lead to gutting abortion rights.
As the Supreme court’s decisions set the Abortion rights group on fire, the anti-abortion group feels empowered and hopes on gutting abortion rights, not only in Texas but all across the United States.
