Brian Walshe Google History Before and After Killing His Wife Ana Walshe

According to prosecutors, these are the Google searches Brian Walshe conducted prior to and following the murder of his wife Ana Walshe:

  • What’s the best state to divorce for a man.
  • Dismemberment and the best ways to dispose of a body.
  • Can you be charged with murder without a body.

These are just a few of the Google searches that prosecutors say Brian Walshe made in the days before and after he allegedly killed his wife Ana, cut her up, and put her parts in dumpsters around suburban Boston.

The disturbing searches were read out loud in court Wednesday, when Brian Walshe, 47, was charged with murder and digging up a body without permission. He has been accused of lying to investigators who were looking into where his wife went.

He has said he is not guilty of all the charges, and his lawyer said the evidence against him was not very strong. Except for one, all of the Google searches were done after Ana Walshe was last seen on January 1 and before her workplace reported her missing on January 4.

Have a look at:

Misty Marris, a defense attorney, told CNN that the Google searches “really gave investigators a blueprint of what to look for and where to look.”

Marris said that one search was about divorce and another was about an inheritance, both of which gave prosecutors clues about why Brian Walshe was interested in dismembering and getting rid of a body.

“The story is really coming together, and those Google searches, they were essential to putting together the pieces,” she said. The prosecutor said that some of the searches were done on his son’s iPad, which made them even worse.

At Brian Walshe’s arraignment on Wednesday, the court heard about his Google searches and what prosecutors say he was doing at the time:
