Everything is destroyed if I and the TVA are taken away. When Loki’s first season ended, with those frightening words, the stakes for the whole MCU were raised. Since the Multiverse was precariously balanced on He Who Remains’s shoulders, Sylvie’s vengeful assassination of him has unleashed the biggest threat to the Multiverse since Sylvie’s own Variant, Kang the Conqueror.
Given He Who Remain’s lofty rhetoric, it comes as something of a surprise that Scott Lang and Hope Van Dyne, aka Ant-Man and the Wasp, would be the front-line defenders against Kang’s invasion. Even with the help of Hope’s parents, Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, a man who can destroy numerous universes seem a little out of the duo’s league. The fact that they do it with the help of a squad of mutated super-ants is even more unbelievable.

Ant Man Quantumania Ending Explained
The family of Hank and Scott are sucked into a magnificent realm by Kang after their daughter launches a probe into the Quantum Realm. Janet made friends with Kang while they were both imprisoned in the Quantum Realm, and they collaborated on the construction of an escape vehicle.
After discovering Kang’s true identity, however, Janet concluded that it was preferable to end all contact with Hank and Hope than to let the Conqueror back into the multiverse. She enlarged the power plant of Kang’s contraption using Pym Particles, rendering them both helpless.

In response to Janet’s decision, Kang began wreaking havoc in the Quantum Realm, thus rendering her a pariah there. Back in the Quantum Realm with Hank, Scott, Hope, and Cassie, she is pursued not only by Kang but also by freedom fighters fighting against him, including warrior Jentorra (Katy O’Brian) and Quaz (William Jackson Harper).
By the end of the film, however, Janet makes amends for her role in Kang’s ascension by taking advantage of his frailty, and Hank leads an army of mutant ants in an assault on Kang’s citadel, while Cassie demonstrates her own size-changing skills and aids Jentorra in their attack.
In the climactic moments, Scott and Kang are locked in a fistfight while the rest of Scott’s family escapes through a portal back to their reality. Scott may be outmatched in terms of strength, but he’s dead set on preventing Kang from entering the portal. He and Hope team up to fire a blast into Kang’s spatial engine, seemingly destroying him.

Will We See The Quantum Realm Again?
The Quantum Realm, initially shown at the end of the first Ant-Man film, has played an unexpectedly significant part in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The time portal in Avengers: Endgame served two purposes: it was Kang the Conqueror’s home, and it allowed the Avengers to reassemble the infinity stones that had been scattered across the universe.
More than that, Doctor Strange and the Agents of SHIELD have both paid a visit to the Quantum Realm. Yet Quantumania was the first time we saw Realm residents, and we left them on a positive one. Jentorra and Quaz were able to escape captivity with the aid of the Ant-Men and the Wasps. Especially if Lord Krylar, played by Bill Murray, isn’t the only Kang collaborator they need to deal with, they still have a lot of work to do.
