In June 2019, when he was on Rachael Ray, Dr. Phil said that the rumors of a divorce were not true. He also talked about how seriously he takes his marriage vows and how his love for Robin came from the fact that she lost her parents when she was young.

“She believed it that day, and it’s something we take very seriously. That’s why I just shake my head at these stupid tabloids—we’re not getting a divorce, and the fact that they’re so obsessed with something that is so central to our family is just amazing to me,” he said.
In September 2019, Dr. Phil talked on his show again about the rumors that he and Robin were getting a divorce. He said that photos and headlines on different websites about him and Robin getting a divorce were being used by scammers to get people to click. When they did that, they could be taken advantage of.
“There are a lot of fake divorce stories going around right now, and we need to warn people about them. They are not only completely false… The real problem is that they are being used to trick people “on the show, he said.

Who Was Dr. Phil’s Ex-wife?
Dr. Phil has been married to Robin for more than 44 years, but he has been married before. He married Debbie Higgins McCall in 1970 when he was 20 years old. Debbie later said that Dr. Phil pressured her to stop working and that he had a certain idea of how he wanted her to look.
Their marriage was rocky. She also said that he cheated on her while they were married. It’s not surprising that they weren’t married for long, and in 1973, their marriage was canceled. Dr. Phil met Robin when his first marriage was falling apart.
