According to TMZ, rapper Playboi Carti was arrested in Georgia after he was accused of choking his girlfriend. The arrest affidavit seen by the media outlet states that the lady claims the rapper choked and pushed her. She claims he choked her and made her fear for her life by limiting her air supply.
In this case, it appears that an argument over a paternity test sparked the alleged event. It was also mentioned in the paperwork that the woman had been living with Playboi Carti since July of last year. She had been pregnant at 14 weeks and seeing him for two years at the time of the alleged incident.
According to the police complaint, the woman and Playboi Carti got into an altercation after the woman brought up the idea of a paternity test while they were discussing the kid.

She said that the disagreement turned physical and that a bystander intervened. The victim stated that she was able to remove herself from Carti’s grip and run to her car, but that he followed her and attacked her again. Carti allegedly tried to drag the victim out of the car and covered her mouth when she tried to use the SOS function to get help.

The woman’s neck, chest, and back all showed evidence of trauma when investigators examined her. The rapper known as Playboi Carti got his start when he signed with the independent label Awful Records in his native Atlanta.
