Taylor Swift released four new songs on Friday (March 17), adding to the anticipation for the start of her much anticipated The Eras Era. She announced the release of four previously unheard tracks tonight at midnight on her Instagram Stories the day before.

Re-recordings of Swift’s two songs from The Hunger Games soundtrack from 2012, “Eyes Open” and “Safe & Sound,” with Joy Williams and John Paul White, as well as “If This Was a Movie (Taylor’s Version)” and the previously unreleased “All of the Girls You Loved Before,” are among the four songs.

On Friday (March 17), the Eras Tour will kick off with back-to-back performances in Glendale, Arizona, which has been temporarily christened Swift City in honor of Swift’s impending arrival. Several opening acts, including Paramore, beabadoobee, Phoebe Bridgers, girl in red, Muna, Haim, Gayle, Gracie Abrams, and Owenn, will provide support for the tour.

Swift has released four original studio albums since the Reputation tour ended in 2018: Lover, 2020’s Folklore and Evermore, and Midnights. She also released two re-recorded albums in 2021: Fearless (Taylor’s Version) and Red (Taylor’s Version).
