A live-action remake of the animated Barbie film is coming to theaters after 21 years. The movie’s production company, Warner Bros., has unveiled 24 new character posters, offering additional information about what already appears to be a summer blockbuster. The movie has more stars than the Milky Way, from Helen Mirren and Will Ferrell to Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
When Will the Barbie Movie Be Released?
The official Barbie theatrical release date has been set for July 21, 2023, by Warner Bros. A digital release date has not yet been set, although based on the studio’s past performance, it might come about 45 days later. There is no guarantee, but the Barbie movie may be available online as early as September 2023.

What Do We Know About the Barbie Plot?
Understandably, the plot of Barbie hasn’t received a lot of attention thus far. Most information about the movie has originated from public reporting on social media, except the early promotional images released in June 2022 and its debut teaser trailer.
Together with pictures of their first moments together, photos of Robbie and Gosling rollerblading in Los Angeles have generated a lot of public conjecture. Being Barbie’s first live-action movie, it will probably steer clear of what viewers have seen in an animated film.
