Touring can be “Treacherous,” but after bleeding “Red” at her most recent Eras Tour stop, Taylor Swift is “All Too Well” feeling the effects. After playing three shows in Houston’s NRG Stadium over the weekend, the singer-songwriter turned to social media to inform fans that she sliced her hand backstage during one of the concerts, but she is “fine.”
Swift, 33, tweeted about her upcoming performances at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta this weekend: “Just got to play 3 insane shows in Houston and I’m waking up smiling reminiscing about how much fun we all had.” “Loving this tour so much because of the passion these crowds put into it all – seriously can’t wait for Atlanta.”
She continued, “PS for those asking how I cut my hand, I’m totally fine and it was my fault completely – tripped on my dress hem and fell in the dark backstage while running to a quick change – braced my fall with my palm.” The injury appeared to be noticed by audience members during the Houston performances.
“It was all very Mercury in retrograde coded. Don’t worry about me, I’m gooooood,” Swift’s post continued, alluding to the astrological sign of the moment. The Grammy winner performed many surprise songs for the set during the Houston performances, including “Wonderland,” “You’re Not Sorry,” “A Place in This World,” “Today Was a Fairytale,” “Begin Again,” and “Cold as You.”

Swift spent some time in New York City before the gigs and went out for a girls’ night with close pals Gigi Hadid, Blake Lively, Alana, Danielle, and Este Haim. She was caught going down the street with her entourage wearing a black Simkhai mini dress with spaghetti straps, black shoes, black sunglasses, and a Stella McCartney bag.
Following her breakup with actor Joe Alwyn after six years of relationship, Swift has been spotted numerous times in New York City recently. She and Lively ate dinner with Lively’s husband Ryan Reynolds last week.
