After they returned to the real world, Joey claimed that he and Kariselle split up.
“When I was there, I was like, ‘This is the perfect person I want to spend the rest of my life with.’ When you finish filming, you go back to reality. There’s a lot of life things to deal with,” he remarked. He continued, “We have been such good friends for such a long time.
And as of right now we’re really working on repairing the friendship before anything else.” Still, Joey told Today that he didn’t regret his relationship with Kariselle. “I feel good that since we’ve wrapped the show there hasn’t been any times I’ve been laying in bed going, ‘Why do I say that? Why’d I do that?’” he said. “We took a plunge and it was a great experience.”
Following the unveiling of the show’s Times Square billboard in February 2023, Kariselle left a remark on an Instagram video showing Joey encouraging passersby in Times Square, New York, to be his groupies. Kariselle said with a laughing-crying and raised hands emoji. “I’m sorry do you forget how we met? Absolutely iconic,” she added. Additionally, viewers reported seeing Kariselle in Joey’s video.

Did Joey and Kariselle Date Before ‘Perfect Match’?
After Joey’s identity as a member of The Circle’s cast was made public, the two started talking. In the first episode of Perfect Match, Joey said that Kariselle DMed him and that he was attracted to her right away.
They enjoyed their time together in LA when she had been there, but according to Joey, he wasn’t ready to date.
