During Gamescom Opening Night Live, one of the great announcements was Microsoft’s themed Xbox series X halo infinite, limited edition. On November 15th, Microsoft will release the first special Halo-branded Xbox Series X system. The $549.99 console features brilliant dark metallic geometric panels, gold accent lines, and a starry design to complement the Halo universe. It even showcases bespoke Halo-themed sounds when it turns on and off, and Microsoft has also altered the Xbox Series X’s top fan portion from green to blue, as revealed in the pictures.
Although this is the first-ever custom Xbox Series X system, Microsoft had also brought forward numerous custom Xbox consoles in the past, like customized Minecraft Xbox One S, which looked like it had come directly out of the game, while a limited-edition Taco Bell Xbox contained the renowned ring when you powered up the machine.
Microsoft is also releasing a Halo-themed Xbox Elite 2 controller to accompany the unique Halo-branded console system. It comes with a unique case and D-pad, and it’s designed to resemble the metallic green found on Master Chief’s armor. From November 15th onwards, the Halo Infinite Limited Edition Elite Series 2 controller will also be made available for $199.99. This special edition computer will undoubtedly become a treasure for gamers in the future, as it was created to commemorate both the imminent release of Halo Infinite this winter and the 20th anniversary of the Halo franchise, respectively.
Gold comes to the dust as it did with the Xbox series X halo infinite console limited edition. It has already grabbed the unfair attention of unscrupulous scalpers, who are snatching up the limited supplies to resell at a significant profit.
How to preorder Xbox series X halo infinite, limited edition
As of now, gamers can preorder the Xbox series X halo infinite, limited edition according to stock availability in different stores. On Wednesday, preorders for the $549.99 limited-edition package became available at the Microsoft Store and Target, with initial presale stock selling out in minutes and brushed off. According to a Walmart spokesperson, if you weren’t able to get your hands on the Infinite-ready console earlier, you’ll have another chance on Wednesday, August 25th, at 8:30 p.m. ET / 5:30 p.m. PT, so keep a watch out. We recommend signing in to Walmart and changing your address and billing information before the preorders go live, as we do normally with all next-gen console restocks.
People troubling to find a console using the browser might have better luck using Walmart’s mobile app, so try out. Best Buy has a full page dedicated to the package, but we haven’t heard anything about when pre-orders will be available shortly. While the term “limited edition” is often employed as a marketing ploy rather than a statement of fact, given how difficult it is to get an Xbox Series X in stock, we expect this system to sell out almost immediately whenever it comes in stock. Pre-orders have already run out at certain stores!
It hasn’t been confirmed whether there will be additional pre-order waves or if there will be a stock allocation held back for launch day, but we can always expect to have some.
