The Santa Clauses Series Trailer: In the first trailer for The Santa Clauses, the Disney+ series that serves as a continuation of the popular holiday film franchise, Santa Claus appears. Tim Allen is returning his legendary Scott Calvin/Santa role in the Disney+ Original limited series from Disney Branded Television and 20th Television.

Tim Allen played Scott Calvin/Santa in three movies between 1994 and 2006. After more than 15 years have passed since The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Mr. and Mrs. Claus (Elizabeth Mitchell) are back, according to the first look footage that Disney unveiled at the D23 Expo in Anaheim. On Disney+, the brand-new Santa Clause series premieres with two episodes on November 16.

In the show, Scott Calvin is approaching his 65th birthday and understands that he can’t continue to be Santa. His performance as Santa is beginning to slip, and more significantly, he has a family that would benefit from living in the real world, especially his two children who were raised at the North Pole.

Scott sets out to find a good substitute for Santa while preparing his family for a new adventure in life south of the North Pole because he has many elves, kids, and family members to satisfy. Watch the trailer for The Santa Clauses below.

Cal Calvin (Austin Kane), Sandra Calvin (Allen’s real-life daughter, Elizabeth Allen Dick), and Scott and Carol’s other children are all depicted in the trailer. Former chief elf Bernard (David Kromholtz), who last appeared in 2002’s The Santa Clause 2, is also returning for the series. The Disney+ series portrays Simon Choski (Kal Penn), an accomplished game designer and product developer who is a single parent who goes on a life-altering trip to the North Pole with his daughter Grace, who adores Christmas.

Note the letters “S.C.” (Rupali Redd). Three new characters have been introduced: La Befana the Christmas Witch (Laura San Giacomo), who lives in the Wobbly Woods of the North Pole, and Noel the Christmas Elf (Devin Bright), Santa’s dependable right-hand elf and demanding chief of staff.

Jack Burditt, who created Last Man Standing for Allen, will serve as executive producer and showrunner on The Santa Clauses. Together with Kevin Hench (Last Man Standing), Richard Baker (1994’s The Santa Clause), and Rick Messina (2002’s The Santa Clause 2, Allen’s Jungle 2 Jungle), Allen not only stars in but also executive produces the film. The show for Disney’s 20th Television was written, directed, and executive produced by Jason Winer (Modern Family, Single Parents).
