With the release of the multiplayer game XDefiant, Ubisoft is extending the reach of its vast library of games.
Players are eager to find out when they will be able to play the punky shooter, which has generated some hype in recent weeks. Anything you need to know about the XDefiant release date is provided below.
Ubisoft San Francisco is producing the next multiplayer arena shooter XDefiant. The Libertad, the Echelon, The Phantoms, The Cleaners, and Dedsec are the five sides available in this 6v6 team-based first-person shooter.
Fans of Ubisoft will recognize these groups from other well-known Ubisoft game series, like Far Cry, Watch Dogs, and the Tom Clancy franchises.
XDefiant Release Date
Although there is no set release date for XDefiant, this does not necessarily mean that you won’t soon be able to play it.
If you miss this test, there will undoubtedly be more because Ubisoft is now doing an Insider Session Cross-Play test that started on February 16 and runs through February 19.
It is unclear when the general public will be able to play XDefiant since the game’s web page still displays “coming soon” as the status.

Is XDefiant gonna be Free?
According to Ubisoft, “XDefiant is a free-to-play, hectic arena shooter that blends intense gunplay with tailored loadouts and specialized factions, as teams of gunfighters battle for domination.”
The title of the game was previously announced as Tom Clancy’s XDefiant in July 2021.

Where Can I Play Xdefiant?
On PC, Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series S/X, XDefiant will be made available. In other words, everything but the Switch.
And before you ask, the day XDefiant is published, complete cross-play capabilities will be accessible. We are unsure of our ability to disable this feature, though.
