Shadow of the Erdtree is a big piece of DLC for Elden Ring that was just announced by FromSoftware. But when will it be available?
Shadow of the Erdtree, the long-awaited DLC for Elden Ring, was announced today by the company FromSoftware. The expansion was announced just a few days after the game’s first birthday. The game came out on February 25, 2022, and the announcement came a few days later.
The DLC was announced by the developers on Twitter, where they wrote,
“Rise, Tarnished, and let us walk a new path together. An upcoming expansion for Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree is currently in development.

Along with the news, there was some new art that showed a field full of spirit graves and ruins. In the distance, you can see the dying Erdtree towering over the land. A blonde woman with long hair can be seen riding what looks like Torrent.

Shadow of the Erdtree Release Date
Till now, neither FromSoftware nor publisher Bandai Namco had said when the upcoming DLC would come out. They had only said that it was being made. So far, not much is known about the expansion as a whole, including the story, the characters, and how it will connect to the main story.
It looks like the expansion will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam.
The Colosseum, which came out on December 7, 2022, was the last big change to Elden Ring. With the update, there are now new PvP modes where players can fight in arenas all over The Lands Between.
