Disney has released the Ahsoka teaser trailer, which was shown at today’s Star Wars Celebration, and announced when the new Disney+ Star Wars series will be available. It gives us our first look at the show starring Rosario Dawson and at what’s in store for the main character. In August 2023, the show will be available only on Disney+.

The official description says, “Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy,”

After making her first appearance in The Mandalorian, Ahsoka Tano is played by Rosario Dawson in the limited series. Natasha Liu Bordizzo, who plays Sabine Wren, Hayden Christensen, who plays Anakin Skywalker, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who plays Hera Syndulla, and Ray Stevenson all join Dawson.
Dave Filoni writes the script for the limited series, which he, Jon Favreau, and Kathleen Kennedy are also in charge of producing. No more information about the project has been made public.
